Apex Trader Funding is a Texas-based futures prop firm founded in 2021 by Darrell Martin, and one of the largest names in the space by volume of accounts and reviews. Following its 4.0 overhaul, Apex sells single-step Evaluation accounts in four sizes ($25K, $50K, $100K, $150K) — legacy $75K, $250K and $300K sizes are no longer offered to new traders. Each size comes in two flavours: a Full (default EOD trailing-drawdown) evaluation and an Intraday trailing-drawdown evaluation, both at a 5% profit target, plus a separate $100K Static account with a small fixed drawdown. Evaluations are now one-time fees with a separate PA activation fee after passing. The funded Performance Account pays 100% of the first $25,000 withdrawn, then 90/10, and traders can run up to 20 funded PAs at once with copy trading.
